System Design Symposium is organized by the CIHEAM Montpellier, ICARDA and IRESA-Tunisia.

This symposium aims to discuss findings and initiatives for dryland agri-food systems, using as an entry point of integration (down to the field and up to landscape, market and ecosystems) the farm household and its role in sustainable food production within an uncertain climatic and socio-economic context. See all topics of the symposium

The submission of abstracts for the 7th Farming System Design Symposium in 2021 are progressing well but obviously the COVID-19 has slowed down many process and many of you have asked for a bit more time. So we have extended the deadline to submit an abstract to the 24 August 2020. So far the conference is still planned for March 21-24 2021 in Tunisia and we hope the pandemy will allow to maintain this date.
